We’re here to bring together people who love hazmat and the stuff what comes with that. We aiming for a friendly, 18+ space where GearHeads can meet, share stories, and learn from each other.
We want events that feel welcoming and down-to-earth: playful and sex-positive, but always respectful and consensual.
If you join our activities, please come in full hazmat/gas gear and be able to stay in it during the event activities.
Above all, we aim to build a meeting where gear, knowledge, and good times are freely exchanged.

Blankenburg (Harz) – November 2026
Get your gear ready and join us for the first Hazmat Army Meeting, which will take place in Blankenburg (Harz). This weekend, we will come together to enjoy some urban exploration, photos shoots and the chance to share our favorite with stories and in our gear!
The Harz Hotel Vogelberg is hosting us and will have an exclusive area. Rooms are available as singles or doubles with an en-suite bathroom, and breakfast and dinner are included. Drinks are available at the hotel bar. For activities there is a skittle alley, pool table and table football

Event fee:
To organize access to the lost place and cover the costs, we ask you to pay a one-off fee of € 10 per booking. Any surplus funds will be added to the collection pot and invested in the next event.

FAQ – Hazmat meeting
What to gear… wear?
The dress code for activities will be Gas-tight gear.
examples: ABC Zodiac, Hazmat level 1a or 1b like Trellchem, Drager CPS, MSA Vautex.- The hotel offers an area where you can be in full gear.
- SCBA is allowed.
Can i book at the hotel myself?
Bookings are only valid trough out the Hazmat army form. This because limited capacity for the first editon.
Booking at the hotel yourself will not give access to the activties at the hotel.
Waitinglist
How the waiting list works
- Add your reservation via the form to join the waiting list.
- If a confirmed attendee does not complete their hotel booking or cancels, we will contact the first person on the waiting list.
- That message will include the link to book the hotel room and your personal booking reference number. Once you confirm the hotel booking, your place at the Hazmat meeting is secured.
Will there be an refilling compressor for SCBA bottles?
This is not confirmed yet.
Transport to the lost place
We ask you to carpool together to ensure enough parking at the lost place. Transport is not organized by the event crew
Changing facility at lost place
Changing can be done inside one of the rooms of the Lost place we plan to visit on Saturday. Please bring a piece of plastic to place on the floor to not get all your gear dirty.

Data collection
GearHead Events is collecting data to properly organize activities. Personal information is collected through a form and is only accessible to the organizations involved in the activity. We take privacy seriously and won’t share more information than necessary.
Information required by the location we are visiting will be marked in the form with an ‘#’.
All personal data exept the nicknames, will be deleted by GearHead Events three weeks after the event has ended.
Participation in this activity is entirely at your own risk.
- The organisation is not responsible for any damage or loss during this activity.
- Any damage to your gear is at your own risk.
Transportation to the activity is on one’s own initiative.
The transportation to the location is not organized by the event organisation
Photos and videos
During our activities there will be photos and videos taken. The official photographer will respect your privacy and we only share blurred images when faces are visable on the photo.
If you take photos yourself, please respect the privacy of others who are in the photo.
